A Synottic session introducing AI and AI agents to a general audience.
A general-audience session on understanding AI, working alongside it critically, and using it responsibly — covering AI agents and the changing nature of work.
As AI tools and now AI agents move from novelty to daily use, general and mixed professional audiences increasingly need a working understanding of what AI actually is, how to think critically about its outputs, and how work itself is changing.
Audiences needed a foundational, non-technical understanding of AI and AI agents, practical guidance on human-AI collaboration and critical thinking, and a responsible-use lens that applies regardless of role or industry.
Synottic structured the session around core AI literacy, critical thinking about AI outputs, an introduction to AI agents, and a grounded discussion of how the future of work is shifting — consistent with the Human-Centred AI Approach's emphasis on judgment before automation.
The session treated critical thinking and judgment as the core skill, with AI fluency built on top of it — reflecting the Synottic Way principle of judgment before blind acceptance of AI output.
Practical lessons from this engagement that apply beyond this specific audience.
